Oiled versus Dry Filters:

• Although both options will keep the air to your engine clean and improve airflow, there are a few differences to consider when choosing the best filter for you. Oiled filters allow better airflow than dry filters, however they require more maintenance. Oiled filters will likely get dirty faster, needing to be cleaned more regularly. When cleaning an oiled filter, it is necessary to oil them with filter oil afterwards.
• Dry filters offer slightly lower airflow but are easier to maintain while still out performing the OE paper filter. Dry filters can be washed with warm soapy water. There is no oiling necessary afterwards.

How to service an oiled air filter:

• Take out your High Flow Filter
• Gently tap your air filter on a smooth surface
• Wash with warm soapy water a a soft bristled brush
• Rinse with low pressure water
• Let the filter air dry
• Ready to reinstall for a fresh drive!
