Kevlar reinforced belts experience less elongation over time minimizing the amount of belt adjustment needed as well as offering a higher shock and impact resistance compared to OEM style belts. ECS Tuning Performance Kevlar-reinforced belts have been put through a series of multiple tests: Tensile strength Elongation Hardness Temperature and oil resistance per standard JASO E 109-94 Flex testing per SAE J2432.
